My first full build design! While I was in my second year at UFS (My University) I was asked to design and over the holidays, see over the construction for a family friend. A very hard aesthetic guideline set out the exterior design of the home. Wanting an impressive entrance with a basic living layout for a fmaily wiht dogs, two kids, a husband an wife the the faterh being a musician; I designed a grand two-storey entrance that leads to an upper floor music room with insulated walls and thick curtains to isolate the sound. The fireplace not only acted as an node of orientation in the home but was designed to both be used on both floors and a donkey (water heater) installed in the fireplace heated water for use is power was out. Adter the roof was set, the contractor walked out of the project, and under the guidance of my father a Civil-Engineer and Construction Project Manager. I completed the house my whole december holiday with a pick-up and workers I got find, friends over for barbeques on weekends and setting them to work. We finsihed the house beautifully.
