Under the Wing of MDCC and because of a coffee shop design I had quickly taken care of, I was let loose on a design for one of the owners' dream house. The plan's callibration in terms of plan had been set, but their was now je-ne-se-qua to the design. By splitting the roof into three elevated gables. A farm-style touch, juxtaposed or contrasted with a planed finished. I had taken my concept to the owner who is the Senior Architect and he had said to me: "You have taken a design we wanted to discard and turned it into a project that we can make a show-casing of". This was the first time that we had met.
